The board of Melbye Group and Vivi Nyseter-Østby have agreed that she will step down from her position as Group CEO as of Friday, January 31, 2025. Board member Kristin Melsnes will leave the board and take on the role of Group Leader.
Vivi Nyseter-Østby has led Melbye Group since March 2023, following several years at Telenor.
Throughout 2024, Melbye has undergone major changes to adapt to a shifting market, established a new group leadership with both new and existing members, and developed a strategy for the future.

Kristin Melsnes, who has been a board member for the past five years, has taken on the role of Group Leader. With significant experience from various leadership and board positions in the energy sector, as well as strong trust within the organization, she is well-positioned for the task.
